A Platform² Foundation, founded by NBA Power Forward Wendell Carter Jr. and his Parents Wendell Carter Sr. and Kylia Carter, aims to empower youth and families with a focus on STEM, Financial Literacy, African American History, Social Injustice and Equality Awareness. The overall foundation goal is to create a learning environment that develops well-informed youth and families who will impact and actively engage in their community.
A Platform² Foundation exists to provide youth and families with educational programs, resources and tools that impact and elevate their quality of life.
To see a world where all youth and families have equitable access to success.
“I have a mission to use my platform and give back. Kids that look like me do not have access to certain resources and opportunities and I want to help provide those resources. You don’t have to be an athlete to be a pro” – Wendell Carter Jr.
